RFI has prepared a vision for Irish farming and rural Ireland. It is a vision that accounts for the many serious issues affecting farming, food, rural communities and the environment.

Farm2fork2030 focuses upon first recognizing the issues and what they will mean before identifying necessary and workable solutions. It is a problem-solution driven vision.

The Vision was written during the preparion phase of the Irish agri-food 2030 strategy. It also anticipates that the CAP will be ‘nationalized’ with greater decision-making powers being reverted to Member States. With such happening a greater vision is needed.
