In parallel with the Irish Family Farming Foundation’s proposal to create a simple, artisan-style, modular creamery to offer farmers the facilities to create real premium dairy products, the IFFF is also promoting the establishment of a Guernsey Ireland dairy producer group to support the advancement of the Guernsey cow and her premium milk in Ireland.

The project’s aim of to enhance farm incomes by enhancing the market returns to farmers for their milk. Hence it will identify product options that will be enhanced by the use of premium Guernsey milk, support the processing, marketing and distribution required, establish a framework to facilitate market expansion and provide technical back-up to farmers.
